Why crypto needs a specialist

Crypto breaks the normal close.

Generic ledgers and generalist auditors were built for bank feeds and invoices, not wallets, chains and protocols.

  1. Thousands of transactions, dozens of chains

Wallets, exchanges and protocols don't reconcile themselves, and most accounting systems can't read them.

  2. Basis, valuation and volatility

Every lot needs a cost basis and a fair value, and both move faster than a monthly close.

  3. Auditors learning on your dime

A generalist firm bills you for its learning curve and still can't challenge your treatments.

  4. Transparency is now table stakes

Regulators, partners and holders want proof that reserves cover liabilities, not a promise.

The largest crypto-focused CPA firm in the US, by its own account, serving and auditing digital asset companies since inception. We serve stablecoin issuers, exchanges, custodians, crypto ETFs, RWA issuers, miners and fintechs, and we build the LedgerLens suite of digital-asset audit tools.

Yes. We serve clients globally and have worked with regulators across the US, Bermuda, Dubai, Jersey and Singapore, among others.

Wallet addresses show assets, not what you owe. A proof of reserves reconciles reserve assets (smart contract balances, bank and custodial statements, on-chain addresses with proof of control) against customer liabilities from your platform's records or transfer agent data, and an independent CPA attests to the result.

It depends on who needs to trust the number and how often. Conventional reports suit most issuers and exchanges; Merkle tree lets each customer verify their own balance; on-chain publishes reserve data for smart contracts and DeFi through oracle networks such as Chainlink; real-time attests every 30 seconds. We'll recommend one on the first call.

Yes. Onboarding starts with your current books, wallets and tools. We set up or tune the crypto subledger, apply GAAP treatments from that point forward and keep your filings on schedule. Your dedicated manager walks you through the plan on the first call.

Look for a licensed CPA firm with a multi-year track record in digital assets, crypto-specific tooling, high partner involvement, experience with your regulators and reporting framework (US GAAP or IFRS), and references from comparable clients.
